New Ad Supports Chairman Thompson as He Leads the Charge to Pass the Farm Bill and Protect Our Food Supply
"Leading the Fight" will air on TV and digital platforms in the Pittsburgh and Johnstown markets
The Protecting America Initiative (PAI), a coalition of concerned Americans and public policy experts dedicated to combating the growing influence of Communist China in the United States, today launched a new ad thanking House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn "GT" Thompson for leading the fight to pass a 2026 Farm Bill and further protect our food supply from the Chinese influence.
The 30-second spot, "Leading the Fight," will run on TV and digital platforms in the Pittsburgh, PA and Johnstown, PA markets over the next three weeks.
The ad warns that pro-CCP trial lawyers are weaponizing the courts to sabotage the America First agenda and put our food supply at risk. A key provision in the Farm Bill that Chairman Thompson is championing will protect domestic agriculture producers from frivolous lawsuits. The spot closes with a direct call to action: "Thank Chairman Thompson and tell him to pass the Farm Bill now."

In March, PAI released a battleground poll finding voters want protection for American agricultural producers amid global threats.
Also in March, PAI launched a six-figure ad urging Congress to pass the 2026 Farm Bill and build on President Trump’s executive order invoking the DPA to secure our food supply from China.
In January, PAI ran a TV ad in Pittsburgh and Johnstown markets thanking Chairman Thompson for championing the 2026 Farm Bill.

The Protecting America Initiative, in April 2025, launched a new policy blueprint of actions Congress can take to combat the CCP at the federal level.
PAI, early last year, released a multistate ad calling on Republican state legislators to support President Trump’s agenda by taking action against the urgent threat that Communist China poses to American agriculture.
